I started my travel blog www.twoshoestravel.com back in 2014. As someone who loves to travel, my blog had two purposes:
- Memories of my own awesome travels
- To inspire others to travel
I know that there is a lot of work and effort that goes into making your own blog website, writing posts, adding pictures, and figuring out how to get traffic. It’s a lot of love and energy!
The highlight for me was when a friend’s boyfriend sent one of my blogs to his friend… and it inspired him to travel to Namibia and do the same wildlife volunteer project I had done!

It was the biggest compliment and made having my blog worthwhile. I really wanted to reach out to more would-be travelers and encourage them to go ahead and make that trip.
Inspiration for All the travel blogsDespite being a travel blogger, I didn’t actually follow any other travel bloggers. The reason for this is that I didn’t want to follow someone else’s journey to various places – I was more focused on researching where I wanted to go next.
What I really would have liked is one place to browse through a variety of blogs and articles about the places that I wanted to visit.
Something like All the travel blogs.
Not only is it a place to research or browse where you want to go next, it is also a platform for travel bloggers to share and celebrate their creative work and travel experiences.
